The Solton-Sary Mine-based operations are conducted in strict compliance with the Kyrgyz Republic industrial safety, environmental protection and subsoil management regulations.
The Solton-Sary Mine environmental certificate is presently under development.
The Year 2022 Solton-Sary Plant and Tailings Disposal Area emergency response plan has been formulated, and is in place.
The Emgekchil Onuguu municipal company (Emgekchil community district) has been contracted for removal of solid domestic waste from Solton-Sary Mine to a dedicated disposal area. The Altyntor Pit, Altyntor-Concentrator Access Road and its adjoining areas, Concentrator Plant and Camp areas have been completely cleaned of solid domestic waste. To date, the Solton-Sary Mine has been cleaned of a total of 39 tons of waste.
The Naryn Inter-District Center for Prevention of Diseases and State & Sanitary Control is contracted for scheduled laboratory testing of potable water.
The job descriptions and operating, safety and occupational health instructions for the various lines of duty as performed by the engineering and operations staff have been developed. The appropriate complementary guidelines for the construction personnel, hydraulic technicians, engine mechanics, etc. are now in effect.
The company personnel will attend all of the necessary safety & occupational health training and inductions.
A total of 48 government-issue road signs have been installed on the Solton-Sary Mine technical roads.
Construction of a modern sewage treatment facility (which, once commissioned, will enable the use of treated water for technical purposes) is in progress.
