The factory is undergoing a complete modernization with changes in the technological scheme and replacement of worn-out equipment.

What changes at the plant

Ore size

Before modernisation: 40–60 mm
Expected after modernisation: 10–15 mm

Mill throughput

Before modernisation: 3–4 t/h
Expected after modernisation: 12–15 t/h

Targets, not verified operating results. Expected throughput is 12–15 t/h and above.

The modernisation programme anticipates an approximately 4–5-fold increase in mill throughput.

Under the revised process flowsheet, four sets of Nelson-type centrifugal concentrators and a bank of BGC-250x3 hydrocyclones have been prepared for installation. The equipment is expected to improve metal recovery from ore.
